The Influence of Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance At PT PLN (Persero) Head Office South Jakarta

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT PLN (Persero) South Jakarta Head Office. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling where all members of the population are used as samples, thus the sample in this study totals 62 respondents. Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient and hypothesis test. The population in this study is employees at PT PLN (Persero) South Jakarta Head Office and the number of saturated samples is 62 respondents. The method of data collection is through questionnaires with a likert scale, observation, and literature study. The results of this study are that motivation has a significant effect on employee performance with a determinationcoefficient of 78.4% and uji hypotheses obtained by counting > ttable or (14,746 > 2,000). Work discipline had a significant effect on employee performance with a determinationcoefficient of 67.8% and the hypothesis was obtained by calculating > ttable or (11,230 > 2,000). Motivation and work discipline simultaneously had a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 1.634 + 0.299X1 + 0.678X2, nii the determination coefficient was 80.7% while the remaining 19.3% was influenced by other factors. The hypothesis test obtained the value of Fcal > Ftabel or (123.313 > 3.15).
