The Influence of Discipline and Communication on Employee Performance at Tegallega Offices and Batujajar, Cigudeg, Bogor, West Java

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of discipline and communication on employee performance at the Tegallega Village Office and Batujajar Village, Cigudeg District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling where all members of the population are used as samples, thus the sample in this study is 50 respondents. Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient and hypothesis test. The population in this study is employees of the Tegallega Village Office and Batujajar Village, Cigudeg District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province and the number of saturated samples amounted to 50 respondents. The method of data collection is through questionnaires with a likert scale, observation, and literature study. The results of this study are that discipline has a significant effect on employee performance with a determinationcoefficient of 42.1% and the hypothesis is obtained by counting > ttable or (5.913 > 2.010). Communication had a significant effect on employee performance with a determinationcoefficient of 27.4% and the hypothesis was obtained > ttable or (4.256 > 2.010). Discipline and communication simultaneously had a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 8.302 + 0.508X1 + 0.239X2, nii the determination coefficient was 47.5% while the remaining 52.5% was influenced by other factors. The hypothesis test obtained a value of Fcal > Ftable or (21.286 > 3.20).
