Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation and effectiveness of rewarding  in increasing employee retention at PT Dua Sekawan Makmur, as well as assess the extent to which the company has made optimal efforts to retain employees. The focus of the research was directed at two forms of rewards, namely  financial and non-financial rewards, and employees' tendency to stay in the long term. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique was carried out through in-depth interviews with ten informants consisting of leaders and employees across departments, direct observation in the work environment, and documentation in the form of internal company archives and data. Data analysis is carried out inducively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to gain a deep understanding of the phenomenon being studied. The results of the study show that the implementation  of financial rewards at PT Dua Sekawan Makmur, such as the provision of salaries according to the provisions and one-time salary bonuses, has been carried out fairly, transparently, and consistently. These financial rewards have been proven to be able to increase work motivation, create a perception of fairness, and strengthen employee loyalty in the short term. However, this study also found that the implementation of  non-financial rewards has not been running optimally. Companies do not have a structured career development system, clear promotion mechanisms, and ongoing training programs, which has the potential to reduce employee commitment in the long run.
