The Effect of Human Resources Training and Development on Employee Work Performance at Megabayz Music Group in Gunung Sindur, Kota Bogor

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of training and human resource development on employee work performance at Megabayz Music Group in Gunung Sindur, Bogor Regency. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling where all members of the population are used as samples, thus the sample in this study totals 56 respondents. Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient and hypothesis test. The population in this study is employees of Megabayz Music Group in Gunung Sindur, Bogor Regency and the number of saturated samples is 56 respondents. The method of data collection is through questionnaires with a likert scale, observation, and literature study. The results of this study were that training had a significant effect on employee work performance with a determination coefficient of 88.3% and a hypothesis test obtained from a calculation of > ttable or (20,208 > 2,004). Human resource development has a significant effect on employee work performance with a determinationcoefficient of 79.8% and hypothesis tests obtained > ttable or (14,594 > 2,004). Training and human resource development  simultaneously had a significant effect on employee work performance with a regression equation of Y = 6.354 + 0.833X1 + 0.017X₂, nii coefficient of determination was 88.3% while the remaining 11.7% was influenced by other factors. The hypothesis test obtained the value of Fcal > Ftabel or (200.434 > 3.17).
